Technology Director to lead application delivery of the Cardholder transaction processing engine (including real time interfaces and financial control subsystems) for the Chase Card Core (C3) system - one of the largest credit card transaction processing systems in the world. The C3 system securely manages card authorizations, account posting, and daily transaction settlement services for Chase Card Services. In addition it serves as the system of record for critical business operations such as customer service, card management, collections, fraud and credit risk management, statement processing and market pricing. The Cardholder engine supports critical batch and interactive processing for over 50 million active customers and posts financials across 100 million accounts on a daily basis. The Cardholder engine provides unified critical shared services across multiple channels including call centers, telephony, and the internet. In addition it interfaces with an Authorization transaction engine that supports over 10 million transactions a day. Leading a talented team, this individual will work with multiple business segments and division departments to enhance and/or build new capabilities to support business growth, manage risk and enhance customer experience. This leader will also collaborate across IT groups both within the Chase Card Services business as well as other corporate infrastructure teams to deliver end-to-end solutions. Responsibilities:
* Leads all application and software delivery for the Cardholder, Real Time Interfaces and Financial Control Subsystems of the Case Card Core (C3)
* Delivers high quality software products for the customers and business operations of Chase Card Services (CCS)
* Manages changes through rigorous controls for these subsystems.
* Continuously improves application software delivery process including quality, time-to-market, performance, reliability and productivity
* Develops, communicates and executes strategic view of cardholder subsystems working with architects and infrastructure leaders across the firm.
* Manages team of developers and technologists across global locations
* Creates, maintains and communicates related vital operational metrics in conjunction with the service delivery and production support (run-the-engine teams)
* Trusted technical adviser, expert and partner to business and IT teams who rely on the considerable shared services of the Cardholder and Financial Control applications.
* Senior member of Card IT and Core Processing Management Team which has end-to-end accountability for enhancing and operating the Chase Card Core Platform
* Partner with business and IT on acquisition readiness, capacity planning and portfolio conversion activity. Select, develop and motivate a team with the skills to design, develop and support technology and services that meet business objectives. Management Scope (# direct reports, size of business, etc.)

Requirements |
* Knowledge of Credit Card & Payment Experience.
* Over 10 yrs of experience of Mainframe Application and Software Delivery
* Managing large scale, mission-critical applications
* Very strong technical background on Mainframe Technology subsystems
* Over 5 years experience of managing large teams of developers/global resources. Ability to effectively communicate across various IT and business teams across many lines of business
