Description

As a Client Service Manager, you will be responsible for supervising a team of administrators; in Global Trade Servicing, your team will be responsible to review failing trades, report them to the client and resolve within specified deadlines as a member in the trade servicing team. Resolve UPT (unprocessable trades) and liaise with trade processing to ensure trades are booked to core custody systems timely for settlement. The role requires investigations on foreign exchanges, and security trades to ensure all movements have been processed correctly and by its deadline. Liaison is required with NATO, Bournemouth and the client to rectify discrepancies. An intricate knowledge of internal systems/processes, market place standards and client investment strategy is required. Will handle telephone and e mail inquiries from clients. Status updates: Ensure that the daily processing functions are completed in accordance with the department guidelines. The major functions are:

* Trade Status Monitoring - notify the client and update status, review and resolve failing trades daily

* ACENTS-Monitor on GTI for global account issues daily

* Un-Processed Trades- notify the client and monitor for resolution daily

* Handle daily calls/emails regarding outstanding trades

* View and respond to all fails on IS failed trade database

* Liaison with Sec lending for any outstanding trades due to loan return fails

Reporting and notification:

* All fails should be reported to the client daily, but not responsible for generating fail report, and resolved within 48 hours

* All UPT's should be reported to the client and resolved daily

* Confirm all auto settles on report are valid fails to be reported via failed trade report email daily

* Follow up on all auto settles due to internal issues / causes and have appropriate teams reverse/correct internal fails auto settled

* Ensure that all aged items are reconciled and escalated as appropriate

* Raise and document any operational inefficiency, suggest procedures to eliminate risk

Monitoring:

* Monitor failed trades for settlement on GTI

* Monitor trades for settlement on TITAN with Dallas trade processing

* Confirm input of MEMO trades for triparty repos, time deposits for accuracy of quantity / dollar values, correct cusip/ asset set-up and correct account offsets

Teamwork and communication

* Attend all internal meetings to review issues/ideas or concerns the team may have. A rotating chairperson will be assigned to facilitate the meeting

* Back-up colleagues within the team when needed

* Participate in the trade servicing working group and support projects that arise
