General Manager for an 87,000 sq. foot premier event facility with high profile catering that is experiencing robust growth year over year. Candidate with intimate knowledge of leisure business development, strong relationships with Tourism industry including event and meeting planners, CVB agencies and the business community is required. The General Manager will need to demonstrate the ability to grow and manage $5-8 million in corporate day meetings, social celebrations, tradeshows, as well as corporate and non-profit special events. The success of this candidate will be directly tied to the facilities? revenue growth and attendance growth during their tenure.

Requirements |
Directs all contract management service operations at a single account/unit. Plans and supervises special functions. Maintains cash control and payroll records. Hires and trains unit personnel. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations. Manages through managers and is accountable for the contract. Senior-most person assigned to a one client account.
